One way in which we are dedicated to reducing our residual, unavoidable carbon footprint is by supporting the biodiversity and nature reserve projects ongoing at Make It Wild. We make sure some of our profits from every event we run are redirected into carbon mitigation through tree planting on their reserves right here in the North.
Everytime we have a new event request, no matter how big or small, we already set to work thinking of which suppliers would best suit the budget and the type of event. This is where my mindful approach comes into its own. We carefully select suppliers who are local to the venue, have a dedicated ethos of being sustainable or as ethical as possible, and we have detailed conversations with each of them before engaging their services.
